Young Artists Competition & Recital

The Auburn Symphony is pleased to invite serious young musicians, ages 8-18, residing in Placer, Butte, El Dorado, Nevada, Sacramento, Sutter, Yolo, or Yuba counties.
The Auburn Symphony holds this competition to promote and encourage young musicians who are interested in performance and the study of classical music.
Competition Categories:
Piano, Instrumental (strings or wind), Vocal
Monetary awards will be presented to age division winners in three age groups and the Grand Prize Winner. The Grand Prize Winner is also invited to perform with the Auburn Symphony at the next year’s Family Concert.
Important Competition Dates:
* Application Deadline: 2027 DateTBD
* Live Audition: 2027 Date TBD, Placer High School Theater, Auburn
* Winners Recital: 2027 Date TBD, Pioneer Methodist Church Auburn
