Symphony Around Town
Duos, trios, quartets, and quintets from the Auburn Symphony perform at a variety of community events, including Symphony donor events, in collaboration with local non-profit organizations, art galleries, and private parties. Events/locations include: various artist studios and galleries during the annual Placer Artist’s Tour, Blue Line Arts, Douglas Van Howd Studios, Auburn Old Town Christmas, Winchester Country Club, Galleria Mall, Humane Society of the Sierra Foothills, and many private homes & garden parties.

To schedule musicians for an upcoming event please
Through partnerships with local businesses, nonprofits, community organizations, and public spaces, we place musicians in locations where people already gather. We hope this helps create an easy and informal entry point to the Symphony.
Not everyone sees the concert hall as a place for them. Cost, unfamiliarity with classical music, location, and perceptions about what a symphony experience is “supposed” to be can prevent people from ever taking that first step.
