Auburn Symphony
on the Go!

“Auburn Symphony on the Go!” encompasses all Auburn Symphony activities that occur “off-campus” and are outside of the full orchestra concert schedule. In alignment with our mission statement, these programs allow us to educate and entertain audiences of all ages in a variety of environments. Click on the programs below for more information.

Symphony Goes to School

Bringing symphonic music directly to students since 2001, Symphony Goes to School brings a small, but complete, orchestra of 20 musicians with a conductor for an in-school assembly.

Young Artists Competition & Recital

The Auburn Symphony holds this annual competition to promote and encourage young musicians, ages 8-18, who are interested in performance and the study of classical music.

Auburn Symphony Presents

This program encompasses any educational video series of the Auburn Symphony. Most recently released, “What Do You Hear?” is designed for preschool and elementary age students, funded by First 5 Placer, the Arts Council of Placer County, and Sierra Pacific Foundation.
